# The Kitten in the Cardboard Box

## Story

**Page 1:** Milo Kitten finds a big cardboard box. It sits by the back door.

**Page 2:** Milo climbs inside the box. "This is my boat!" says Milo.

**Page 3:** Milo rocks side to side. "Row, row, row!" He sails on a pretend sea.

**Page 4:** Milo peeks out of the box. "Now this is my little house!"

**Page 5:** He puts a soft blanket inside. He puts a toy mouse inside, too.

**Page 6:** Milo climbs on top of the box. "Now this is my tall mountain!"

**Page 7:** He looks all around. He can see the whole garden from up high.

**Page 8:** Milo jumps down with a bounce. "Box, you are the best toy!"

**Page 9:** He curls up inside the box. The box is warm and cozy.

**Page 10:** Milo closes his eyes. Good night, brave sailor. Good night, box.
