## Story

**Page 1:** Freddie Frog finds a pair of big boots. They are red and very, very big.

**Page 2:** Freddie puts on the big boots. "Look at me!" he says. "I am so tall!"

**Page 3:** Freddie tries to hop. Stomp! The boots flop on his feet.

**Page 4:** Freddie tries to jump. Slip! He lands in a soft pile of leaves.

**Page 5:** "These boots are too big," says Freddie. He wiggles his toes inside them.

**Page 6:** Freddie tries tall shoes. He tries long shoes. They are all too big!

**Page 7:** Then Freddie sees his own green shoes. They are small and just right.

**Page 8:** Freddie puts on his green shoes. Hop! They fit! Jump! They fit!

**Page 9:** Freddie hops all around the pond. His shoes go hop, hop, hop!

**Page 10:** "Big is not always best," says Freddie. "My own shoes are best for me!"
