# Rain Puddle Jumpers

## Story

**Page 1:** After the rain, Dottie Duck finds a puddle. "Jump!" says Dottie.

**Page 2:** Splash! One jump! Dottie counts, "One!"

**Page 3:** Her friend Wally Duck joins her. Splash, splash! "Two jumps!" they say.

**Page 4:** They find a bigger puddle. Splash, splash, splash! "Three jumps!"

**Page 5:** Their feet go splish, splosh in the cool, clear water. Their soft feathers get speckled with shiny rain drops.

**Page 6:** "Let's jump together!" says Dottie. "One, two, three, JUMP!"

**Page 7:** Splash! Water flies up in the air. The ducks quack and laugh.

**Page 8:** They jump in a small puddle. Then a medium puddle. Then a big one!

**Page 9:** The sun comes out. A rainbow arcs over the puddles.

**Page 10:** Dottie and Wally shake off the drops and waddle home happily. "Best puddle day ever!" they quack together.
