Early in the morning, Willa the whale woke up and hummed a soft, happy tune.

"It is a song I made up myself," said Willa, "and I sing it when I feel glad."

The little fish tried the tune, but the notes wobbled and slipped away like bubbles.

Willa sang it again, slower this time, while the fish listened with wide eyes.

Soon a crab tapped the tune on a smooth rock, tap, tap, tappity tap.

Then a seahorse swayed, a starfish clapped, and the whole reef joined in.
