Tilly the turtle paddled to the rocks at low tide to look for treasure.

In the first pool, she found a smooth white pebble and a shell shaped like a fan.

In the next pool, she found seaweed that waved like green ribbons in the water.

## Page 4

Then Tilly heard a tiny voice. 'Help,' it said. 'I am stuck behind this rock.'

Behind the rock was a little orange starfish, upside down and all alone.

Tilly pushed gently with her nose until the starfish flipped right side up.

## Page 7

"Thank you," said the starfish. "Now I can find my way back to the sea."

Tilly walked with her new friend all the way to the edge of the waves.

The starfish waved one arm and floated away, happy and safe at last.

## Page 10

Tilly smiled. She had not found gold, but she had found a treasure friend.
