## Story

Page 1: Plinka woke up and giggled. "Today is Opposite Day!" she said.
Page 2: She put her shoes on her hands and her gloves on her feet.
Page 3: At the picnic, everyone ate pudding first and sandwiches last.
Page 4: They sat under the blanket, with the food on top of it.
Page 5: "Goodbye!" they said when they arrived, and "Hello!" when they left a game.
Page 6: Then a soft rain began to fall, and the picnic went all soggy.
Page 7: On Opposite Day, rain meant it was time to dance, not to hide.
Page 8: So Plinka and her friends danced in the rain, splish, splash, splosh!
Page 9: When the sun came back, they dried the blanket and ate the sandwiches.
Page 10: "Opposite Day is silly," laughed Plinka, "but a picnic with friends is best."
