## Story

Page 1: Leo the lion lived alone on a sunny hill, and he felt lonely.
Page 2: Every day, he called out, "Will you play with me?" in his biggest roar.
Page 3: The rabbits hopped away. The birds flew away. The mice hid away.
Page 4: Leo did not understand. "I only want a friend," he whispered sadly.
Page 5: A tiny mouse named Mia stayed behind a rock and listened carefully.
Page 6: "Your roar is very loud," Mia squeaked. "It sounds a little scary."
Page 7: Leo tried again, in the softest voice he had ever used.
Page 8: "Will you play with me?" he asked, quiet as a warm breeze.
Page 9: Mia smiled and took his paw. "Yes," she said. "Let us play ball."
Page 10: From that day on, Leo and Mia played together, loud sometimes and soft sometimes.
