## Story

Page 1: Hazel the hedgehog loved autumn, when leaves fell like golden rain.
Page 2: She collected a red leaf, a yellow leaf, and a crunchy brown leaf. She carried them home in a big, woven basket.
Page 3: She wanted the biggest leaf pile in the whole forest.
Page 4: But her friends wanted leaves too, for their nests and games.
Page 5: Hazel hugged her pile tight. "These are mine," she said quietly.
Page 6: Then she saw Squirrel shivering, with no warm leaves for his nest.
Page 7: Hazel gave him her softest yellow leaves, and he smiled.
Page 8: Soon, everyone shared: red leaves, brown leaves, and crinkly leaves.
Page 9: Together, they built the biggest leaf pile the forest had ever seen.
Page 10: They jumped in it, laughing, as leaves flew up like autumn fireworks.
