## Story

**Page 1:** Holly Horse loves to listen. She listens to birds, bees, and the wind in the trees.

**Page 2:** One day, her friends want to play different games. Duck wants to swim, and Rabbit wants to hop.

**Page 3:** Everyone talks at the same time. "Swim!" says Duck. "Hop!" says Rabbit. "Run!" says Fox.

**Page 4:** Holly does not shout. She sits quietly and listens to each friend, one by one.

**Page 5:** First, she listens to Duck. Duck wants to splash in the cool pond.

**Page 6:** Next, she listens to Rabbit. Rabbit wants to hop over the soft grass.

**Page 7:** Then, she listens to Fox. Fox wants to run around the big oak tree.

**Page 8:** Holly smiles and says, "We can play all three games. First we swim, then we hop, then we run."

**Page 9:** Her friends cheer and clap their paws. Listening helped them find a happy plan.

**Page 10:** They play swim, hop, and run all afternoon. Holly is glad she listened first.
