# The Sandcastle That Stood Up

## Story

**Page 1:** Casey Crab wants to build the tallest sandcastle on the beach. He scoops up wet sand with his claws.

**Page 2:** He pats the sand into a tall tower. Pat, pat, pat, goes Casey.

**Page 3:** He adds a shell on top of the tower. The sandcastle looks wonderful!

**Page 4:** A wave rolls up the beach. Splash! The sandcastle falls down flat.

**Page 5:** Casey does not give up. He builds the tower again, a little further from the sea.

**Page 6:** He pats the sand down firmly. He adds shells around the base to make it strong.

**Page 7:** Another wave rolls up the beach. This time, the sandcastle stands up tall!

**Page 8:** Casey's friends come to see the castle. "Wow!" they say. "It is so tall!"

**Page 9:** Casey adds a flag made from a leaf. The sandcastle waves in the sea breeze.

**Page 10:** Casey smiles at his tall sandcastle. Building again, in a better place, made all the difference.
