# The Coral Reef Band

## Story

**Page 1:** In the coral reef, the animals want to start a band. Everyone picks an instrument.

**Page 2:** Clownfish picks a drum. Tap, tap, tap, goes the drum.

**Page 3:** Seahorse picks a shell horn. Toot, toot, goes the horn.

**Page 4:** Crab picks clacking shells. Clack, clack, clack, go the shells.

**Page 5:** At first, everyone plays at the same time, but not together. It sounds loud and jumbled!

**Page 6:** Octopus, the band leader, raises one arm. "One, two, three, play!" she says.

**Page 7:** Now they play together, in time. Tap, toot, clack, goes the coral reef band!

**Page 8:** Fish swim over to listen. They sway to the happy music.

**Page 9:** The band plays a soft, sweet song for the reef. Everyone claps their fins and claws.

**Page 10:** The coral reef band takes a bow together. Music is best when everyone plays in time.
