# The Socks That Danced in the Wash

## Story

**Page 1:** Two stripy socks went in the wash. Round and round they spun.

**Page 2:** The socks danced in the bubbles. They twirled and bounced.

**Page 3:** One sock jumped high into the bubbles while the other sock jumped low and spun around.

**Page 4:** When the wash stopped, one sock was gone! 'Where is my pair?'

**Page 5:** The sock looked in the basket. It looked under the towel.

**Page 6:** It looked behind the washing machine and under the towel, but there was no lost sock anywhere.

**Page 7:** Then it saw a little tail. The lost sock was in the sleeve!

**Page 8:** The pair hugged on the line. They flapped in the breeze.

**Page 9:** Now the socks dance together in the wash, twirling and bouncing, and they never dance alone.

**Page 10:** Clean socks, happy feet. Time to go out and play!
