## Story

**Page 1:** Blu wanted to paint a wall. It was plain and grey.

**Page 2:** He dipped his big brush in bright red paint and made a long, straight stripe across the wall.

**Page 3:** He painted orange next to the red, then yellow, green, and blue in long and careful stripes.

**Page 4:** The colours ran together. They made a muddy puddle!

**Page 5:** Blu felt very sad indeed, looking at the muddy puddle where his bright rainbow had been.

**Page 6:** His friends brought clean brushes and said kindly, 'Try again, Blu, and paint it slowly this time.'

**Page 7:** Blu painted slowly this time. One stripe at a time.

**Page 8:** Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. A rainbow!

**Page 9:** Blu smiled at his rainbow wall, bright and happy, knowing that it belonged to everyone in town.

**Page 10:** Blu smiled at his rainbow wall. It belonged to everyone.
